What are your charges for local moves?

Our rates are very competitive and remain the same 7 days a week. Please note all charges are excluding GST

  • 2-3 Bedroom - $44 per ½ hour + GST with 2 Men and Medium Truck
  • 4 Bedroom - $48 per ½ hour + GST with 2 Men and Large Truck
  • 4 Bedroom + Study - $53 per ½ hour + GST with 2 Men and Large Truck
  • 5 Bedroom - $69 per ½ hour +GST with 3 Men and Large Truck

Important information about our Charges

  • On Bookings from Monday to Thursday, minimum Booking of 2.5 hours applies to all jobs
  • For Bookings from Friday to Sunday, minimum booking of 2.5 hours applies to all jobs with Half hour call out fee
  • Rates are billed in half-hour (30 minute) increments; charges are from door-to-door – from the initial pickup location to the final drop off location
  • A 5% fuel levy applies if travel is over 20 kilometres from pick-up to the drop off, and 10% if over 35 kilometres
  • For Credit Card payments, 2% surcharge applies. For AMEX, the surcharge is 4%

Do you have a Call Out Fee?

There's no Call Out fee if your booking is from Monday to Thursday.

If your booking is from Friday to Sunday, we have half-hour (30 minute) call out fee at the given rate of your move added to the total time to cover the team’s driving to and from your locations. This fee covers Sydney metropolitan area, for which a single half-hour travel time is very reasonable. If you live outside of this area, the call out fee will be indicated to you at time of booking to cover the reasonable time for the team to return to Sydney metropolitan area.

I need to move interstate why should I choose you over others?

Direct Transit – Our premium interstate service is your best choice if a moving deadline in which you must complete the move from A to B is in place. Our Direct Transit features:

Backloading – A fantastic, and more cost effective choice for interstate if you have a more flexible time frame to move. Our backloding service features:

  • Affordable moving for clients who are on a tight budget and are more flexible with times and dates (as much as 35% savings possible on your move)
  • Deliveries are weekly
  • Your items are moved alongside other’s using a single truck.
  • By determining the cubic meters that your items will use, you only have to pay for the space on the truck that is used.

Can I get a fixed Quote?

Absolutely, Even If you require we can visit you at your home or office to complete a full assessment and provide a fixed quote. Please give us a call to arrange a no obligation free appointment.

What are your payment terms?

Payment is strictly COD (cash on delivery). We do not accept cheques under any circumstances so please do not ask. If you are paying in cash please ensure you have enough money on you on the day to settle your bill. Credit card purchases will incur a $10 - $20 processing surcharge depending on the card. 

How can I make a booking?

What if I need to cancel my booking?

When you book with Fox Relocations we reserve your spot. We understand that things change and you may need to change your moving date, or cancel altogether. We ask you be considerate. Cancelling an hour before your booked move means that team now have no work for that period we reserved for you. As such cancelling within 24 hours of your move will incur a $120 hour cancellation fee.

We need at least 72 hours notice to cancel a move to refund the full $100 deposit to your account.
